Frequently Asked Questions

Why can I see only some of my photos?
You may be using Limited Photos access. The app can process only the photos and videos you allow.
Is a photo deleted after I swipe up?
No. Swiping up only adds it to the pending-deletion list. It does not delete the photo immediately.
What is required to delete a photo?
Review it in the pending-deletion list, give final confirmation in the app, and then confirm in the iOS system dialog. PhotoKit performs the deletion only after those steps.
How can I recover a deleted photo?
Check Recently Deleted in the system Photos app. Recovery depends on system status, system policy, and your later actions.
Where do photos I favorite go?
Depending on your settings, they are added to system Favorites or to a regular system album you selected.
What if my selected album was deleted?
Open app settings and select an available system album again.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
Photos are not uploaded to the developer's servers. Browsing and color analysis happen on your device. When you use Organize by Location, embedded coordinates are temporarily sent to Apple Maps for region names; the developer's servers do not receive them.
